The magic isn't magic (it's choreographed)

I just got back from Disney with my family.

And look, I'm not here to tell you it's cheap or that the lines are short or that churros are worth $12.

But I left with three business takeaways I can't stop thinking about.

Because Disney isn't just good at creating magic.

They're excellent at designing retention.

And if you're running a SaaS, reselling HighLevel, or any recurring business, there's a masterclass hiding in the mouse ears.

Today in 5 minutes or less:

✔️ Make It Easy for Your Team to Win

✔️ Choreograph Magic (Especially for Low Moments)

✔️ Story Beats Product

🎯 Make It Easy for Your Team to Win

At every entry point—hotel, park, restaurants—they ask one simple question:

"Are you celebrating anything?"

If you say yes, they badge you with your name and details.

10th anniversary. 30th birthday. Whatever it is.

And now for the rest of your visit, every team member who sees your badge calls it out specifically:

"Happy 10th Anniversary, Matt!"
"Happy Birthday! So glad you're spending your 36th with us."

Here's what's brilliant:

Each team member gets to see surprise and delight all over my face.

They feel a very tangible win.

The lesson for your business:

Your team wants to win. But you have to make it easy.

Give them the context, the tools, and the prompts to create magical moments.

Don't make them guess how to surprise and delight your customers.

Design it into the system.

Choreograph Magic (Especially for Low Moments)

Nothing at Disney is left to chance.

No character overlaps. No potentially magical moment is missed.

But here's what's even cooler:

They've planned how to transform disaster into delight.

Forgot your toothbrush? Misplaced your kid's stuffed animal? Lost your car keys?

Their response is clearly choreographed to turn a crisis into a cherished memory.

Those prepared, marked moments are why Disney has such strong fandom.

The lesson for your business:

Don't just plan for the wins. Plan for the disasters.

What happens when a client's frustrated? When something breaks? When they're ready to cancel?

If you choreograph your response to low moments, you don't just save the relationship.

You create a story they'll tell forever.

📖 Story > Product

Every element at Disney has a story behind it.

The chandelier above us at brunch? Had like 12 stories attached to it.

People put a premium on experiences.

And story can turn even the most mundane into magic.

The lesson for your business:

Stop selling features. Start selling stories.

Your software isn't just "automation."

It's the reason someone got 3 hours back to coach their kid's soccer practice.

Your service isn't just "support."

It's the 2am response that saved someone's launch.

The story is what makes it worth more than money.

Your Move This Week:

Pick one of these three and implement it:

1. Make winning easy for your team
Give them one prompt or script that helps them create delight

2. Choreograph your disaster response
Write out exactly what happens when things go wrong

3. Find your stories
Ask one client: "What changed for you after using our product?"

Disney charges premium prices because they've mastered retention through design.

You can too.
